1.1. This Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy (the “Policy”) is drawn up in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” (“Law 152-FZ”) and defines how personal data is processed and protected in the Terka service (the “Service”), available at https://new.terka.io.
1.2. The data controller (operator) is: Bitbarrel Media LLC (OOO «Битбаррел Медиа»), OGRN 1243900007966, INN 3900027811, KPP 390001001, registered address: 236029, Kaliningrad Region, Kaliningrad, Glinki St. 1, apt. 61 (the “Operator”).

1.4. By using the Service, registering in it and providing personal data, the user confirms acceptance of this Policy.
The Operator processes the following categories of the user’s personal data:
The Operator does not process special categories of personal data (race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, health) or biometric personal data.
Personal data is processed on the basis of:
5.1. Personal data is processed with and without automation tools: collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, updating, use, transfer, anonymisation, blocking, deletion and destruction.
5.2. Personal data is processed for as long as the user uses the Service and until consent is withdrawn or the account is deleted. After account deletion or withdrawal of consent, personal data is deleted unless the laws of the Russian Federation require otherwise.
6.1. In accordance with Art. 18(5) of Law 152-FZ, the recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, updating and retrieval of personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation is carried out using databases located in the territory of the Russian Federation. The Service’s servers are hosted in Russia.
6.2. The Operator takes the necessary legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying and dissemination.
7.1. The Operator does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties, except where necessary for the operation of the Service (e.g. hosting providers, email delivery services, web-analytics services) or where required by the laws of the Russian Federation (upon request of authorised state bodies).
7.2. For web analytics the Operator uses the Yandex Metrica service provided by Yandex LLC. With respect to the data collected by Metrica, Yandex LLC acts as a party processing personal data on the Operator’s instructions (Art. 6(3) of Law 152-FZ). Processing takes place within the territory of the Russian Federation. Service terms: yandex.ru/legal/metrica_termsofuse.
7.3. Part of the profile data (name, age, photos, interests) is visible to other users of the Service depending on the privacy settings chosen by the user.
7.4. If the user has voluntarily provided messenger accounts for notifications, messages are delivered through the infrastructure of the respective messengers — Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.) and MAX (Communication Platform LLC, VK Group). The Operator transfers to them only the data technically required to deliver a message (chat identifier and notification text). Providing messenger accounts is voluntary and does not affect the availability of other Service features. The user may stop this processing at any time by removing the accounts in notification settings or by sending the /stop command to the chat-bot; the identifiers are then deleted and delivery stops.

Requests for access, correction, deletion of data or withdrawal of consent are handled by the Operator within the time limits set by Law 152-FZ.
9.1. The Service uses cookies, browser local storage (including sessionStorage) and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember user settings, ensure security and for web analytics.
9.2. To analyse traffic and improve the Service, the website https://new.terka.io uses:
9.3. By continuing to use the Service, the user agrees to the use of these technologies. The user may disable cookies in their browser settings; however, this may limit certain features of the Service.
10.1. The Service uses recommendation technologies — providing information (events, people, content) based on the collection, systematisation and analysis of data relating to the user’s preferences. The procedure for their application, the types of data used and its sources are described in a separate document — the “Rules for the Application of Recommendation Technologies” (Art. 10.2-2 of Russian Federal Law No. 149-FZ). The document is provided in Russian.
10.2. The user can influence recommendations (in particular, by marking events as “interested” or “not interested”) and limit them by changing their interests and subscriptions in the “Profile” section.
The Operator uses encryption of data in transit, access control, secure password storage and other measures aimed at ensuring the confidentiality and security of personal data.
The Service is intended exclusively for persons aged 18 and over (information product category 18+ under Russian Federal Law No. 436-FZ of 29 December 2010 “On the Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development”). Registration and use of the Service by persons under 18 is prohibited.
The Operator may amend this Policy. The current version is always available on this page. Users are informed of material changes through the Service.
